International Journal on Vedic Foundations of Management is a bi – annual Journal (ISSN   2321 – 4473) published by Vedic Foundations of Indian Management (A Unit of ISOL Research Foundations) since June 2013. The mission of the International Journal on Vedic Foundations of Management is to publish empirical and theoretical research that tests, extends or builds management theory on integrating Vedic literature and its application to various spheres of management activities and practice.

Mission Statement

The mission of the International Journal on Vedic Foundations of Management is to publish empirical and theoretical research that tests, extends or builds management theory on integrating Vedic literature
and its application to various spheres of management activities and practice. All empirical methods –both qualitative and quantitative are welcome. To be published in IJVFM, a manuscript must make strong empirical and / or theoretical contributions and highlight the significance of those contributions in understanding the role of Vedic literature in renewing the contemporary management praxis. The focus of IJVFM is to systematically explore and map the field from different perspectives referring to different functional areas of management and integrate it with ancient Indian wisdom traditions.

Thus, preference is given to the submissions that test, extend or build theoretical frameworks of Vedic foundations of management while empirically examining issues with high importance related to holistic and Indian management theory and practice. IJVFM also welcomes theoretical articles that have strong basics for future researches on Vedic foundations of management. The International Journal on Vedic Foundations of Management is not restricted to any particular discipline, level of analysis, or cultural or national context.

Criteria for Publication

Articles published in the International Journal on Vedic Foundations of Management should be original, insightful and interesting, theoretically strong and / or application oriented and clearly communicates the nature of their contribution in relation to role of Vedic literature in renewing the contemporary  management praxis. Particular emphasis will be placed on potential practical applications.

The submissions will be peer reviewed.

We encourage authors to write manuscripts in a simple and concise way so that the clarity of exposition is revealed. Guidelines are as follows: Articles should not ordinarily exceed 25 double – spaced pages (using one – inch margins and the Times New Roman 12 – point font) inclusive of references, tables, figures and appendixes.

Submission Requirements

When authors submit their manuscripts to IJVFM for publication consideration, they agree to abide by IJVFM publication requirements. Specifically an author must agree that manuscript has not been submitted anywhere else for publication and will not be submitted to another publication entity during the review period of IJVFM.

The Review Process

When manuscript received the initial review is made by the Editor about the suitability of the manuscript for IJVFM. Each issue will have a ‘Guest Editor’. The Review Committee consists of ‘Guest Editor’ and three reviewers from Editorial Board. The Committee is empowered to make all publication decisions. All submissions will be blind reviewed.

The IJVFM strives to provide constructive feedback to the authors within approximately four months. In order to increase the probability of acceptance at IJVFM we encourage authors to get their manuscript
peer reviewed at their own level.
